Comprehensive service and technical support
Since its establishment, our company has been focusing as much on the sale of the latest devices in the automatic identification (autoID) segment as on technical support for all the products we offer. Over the years, the range of devices has vastly expanded, which has resulted in our technical department gaining necessary knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of our growing customer base.
For several years, we have seen an increase in the number of completed orders. Thanks to the manufacturers’ support and the training courses they organise, our specialists are constantly upgrading their qualifications, confirming them with a number of certificates.
Our maintenance service provides support for all equipment in these groups:
- label printers,
- card printers,
- barcode scanners,
- data terminals,
- POS terminals,
- OCR readers.
What makes us stand out?
As we need to respond to dynamic market changes and rising customer expectations, our company is constantly developing. This enables us to create an individual offer that suits your needs. Please contact our customer service department with a brief description of the services you are interested in.
As part of our technical support and maintenance services, we offer:
- individual preparation of devices for customer, i.e. installing the relevant software or personalisation;
- training – in order to enable your employees to operate the equipment themselves;
- periodic technical inspections to guarantee the uninterrupted performance and availability of the equipment.
Our diagnostic service will allow you to schedule equipment maintenance at the most convenient time, thus significantly reducing the risk of failure and downtime at the least suitable moment. Regular maintenance also significantly increases the equipment lifespan, which is reflected in the TCO – the total cost of ownership of the equipment.
What does label printer servicing involve?
Label printers are rather complex devices, consisting of many components. Therefore, servicing them takes some time. The service technician must carefully check each part during the inspection and determine which of them is not suitable for further use. Therefore, label printer servicing involves:
- Comprehensive inspection of the printhead, pressure roller, spindle, and drive assembly;
- Maintenance of sensors, hangers, label feeders, and housing (both internally and externally);
- Testing the functionality of sensors;
- Calibration.
After all this, the specialist prepares a test print. Its purpose is to check whether the Zebra printer service has been carried out correctly and whether any new problems suggesting deteriorating device performance have arisen. At the end of the service and maintenance work, we prepare a report containing information about the technical condition.
Zebra Printer Service – How Often Should It Be Done?
There is no one universal rule in this regard. Printers from reputable manufacturers, such as Zebra, are considered more durable than others, and there is plenty of evidence to support this belief. Nevertheless, even the best devices need a comprehensive check from time to time. It is generally accepted that industrial or semi-industrial printers should be checked every 2 years. However, if the device is heavily used, this period should be shortened to a year. Extending to 4 years is recommended for rarely used equipment. For other devices in the company, the periods are similar. For example, barcode scanner service should be performed along with printer inspection.
How much does the barcode scanner service cost?
The price of service depends strictly on the scope of work and its type. Therefore, the final cost is assessed individually. This way, our clients can be sure that they won’t pay for a whole package of services they don’t need at the moment.
Most repairs can be quoted in advance. In some cases, it may turn out that the damages are more serious than would be apparent from superficial inspections. In such cases, we inform you that the Zebra printer or POS terminal service will take more time and cost more money. This allows clients to consider whether they want to continue with the repairs.
